Brides Thanked for Service With Gowns

Sandy Vital struggled Tuesday morning to decide between seven wedding gowns at an Oakbrook Terrace bridal shop -- how about the off-white A-line with the halter or that number with the drop waist?

Luckily for the Marine Corps veteran, the dress of her dreams was donated by Bella Bianca as a way of saying thanks for serving her country with two tours in Iraq. Vital was among about a dozen military brides given free bridal gowns by the west suburban bridal shop as part of an effort by Brides Across America, a national charitable organization that gives dresses to women who were deployed or whose husbands were.
