I feel so awful! MY husband just went to BMT this week, and he called to give me the address. I didn't hear my phone so he had to leave a message. He told me he would SEND the address! Is this normal? I'm so upset that I missed the call, I feel awful enough! Was he not able to leave the address in a voicemail message? I was under the impression that they gave it to you over the phone!

Dont worry, you will talk to him again. He was probably waiting to personally give you the address.. i hate mising calls to. Just keep your phone by your side and have the ringer turned all the way up lol

He is still in processing so there is a good chance that you will get another phone call. I know it is hard because you feel guilty and horrible over missing the one he did have, just remember you are not the first one nor are you the last. Plus you cannot just sit there by the phone waiting for the calls, you do have other things to do as well. If he is calling your cellphone then that is something you can have by you more than a regular phone so make sure you do have it.  You will be getting some information in the mail as well around week 3 or 4 that includes the Form DD1172 to get your ID card with.

You then have access to the bases/posts that are by you, use their facilities such as pool, gym, MWR, ITT, commissary, exchange, and so forth. You can also change from Tricare standard to Tricare Prime for medical if you wish.
